Alma Mater

Dear old Dartmouth, give a rouse
For the college on the hill!
For the Lone Pine above her,
And the loyal ones who love her,
Give a rouse, give a rouse, with a will!
For the sons of old Dartmouth,
For the daughters of Dartmouth.
Though 'round the girdled earth they roam,
Her spell on them remains;
They have the still North in their hearts,
The hill-winds in their veins,
And the granite of New Hampshire
In their muscles and their brains.
And the granite of New Hampshire
In their muscles and their brains.
Dear old Dartmouth, set a watch
Lest the old traditions fail!
Stand as sister stands by brother!
Dare a deed for the old Mother!
Greet the world, from the hills, with a hail!
For the sons of old Dartmouth,
For the daughters of Dartmouth.
Around the world they keep for her
Their old undying faith;
They have the still North in their soul,
The hill-winds in their breath,
And the granite of New Hampshire
Is made part of them till death.
And the granite of New Hampshire
Is made part of them till death.

bored

Getting used to this d-plan is going to take a while. Finals are over yay! However, i'm home chilling now and none of my friends have even began to take finals. So for two weeks I am at home with my family....bored. It's cool being home and finished with the semester so early I just need something to so. The break isn't long enough to find a job soooooo....sleeping is the main thing currently. Luckily I have the dartmouth crew from dc to keep me company. They club of washington is throwing us a holiday party...yesssss. Anywho, I now think I am officially a New Englander now lol. The weather at home is like paradise to the 8 or so inches of snow thats already fallen in good 'ol Hanover. I'm not even wearing a jacket at home...people think i've gone crazy.

Random fact: I really miss the froyo at foco..♥

  2. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I actually live in Maryland a few minutes outside of the city and there are a LOT of people from the DC area. The Dartmouth Club Of Washington holds a lot of info sessions and just fun cookouts and things for the 14s. Its a great way to meet more people from our area. I hope to see you soon!!! If you come on campus to visit email me!!!
